Abstract
This paper describes the theoretically basedactivities conducted during the first year of theBrite/Euram Helifuse Porgramme. These activitiesmainly consisted of the numerical prediction ofhelicopter fuselage flowfields with existing Navier-Stokes solvers on a number of pre-selectedcases, taken out of an extensive wind tunneltest programme.
