Toward the decentralized optimal operation of integrated community energy system
A decentralized optimal scheduling method is proposed for integrated community energy system (ICES) in this paper considering multiple operation entities, including electric distribution system, natural gas distribution system and energy hubs. Firstly, the linear mathematical model is established for each sub-system of ICES, respectively.
Secondly, the decentralized optimal scheduling method is proposed via the consensus-based alternating direction method of multipliers (C-ADMM). By introducing several coupling relationships among each sub-system as consensus variables, the optimal scheduling scheme of ICES can be achieved via decentralized optimization.
Finally, a case study is utilized to verify the effectiveness of proposed method. It is illustrated by numerical results that the proposed method is able to provide the optimal scheduling schemes, which is in accord with that by centralized method. Meanwhile, the privacy and confidential items of different operation entities are guaranteed with only the consensus variables exchanged during the optimization process.
