Performance assessment of flexible time-wavelength routing for a self-aggregating transparent Metro-access interface
A time-WDM architecture with on-the-fly wavelength routing and traffic self-aggregation is proposed. Metro-accesss ligthpaths are established using ONUs with reflective modulators. Simulations results show the advantages of the proposed architecture
