Elkvalitet ved nettilslutning af vindmøller. Del 3: Overtoner og driftsforhold ved invertertilsluttede vindmøller

From

Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy, Technical University of Denmark1

Grid connection of wind turbines impact on power quality is described. The report concentrates on harmonics and operation of variable speed wind turbines stationary voltages, whereas other aspects are described in: Summary report. Part 1: Stationary voltages. Part 2: Flicker. Frequency converters for wind turbines with variable speed are considered.

It is concluded that the pule width modulated frequency converters will be the most suitable converter type for variable speed wind turbines in the future. Harmonics from such converters are analyzed. It is noted that norms considering harmonics in the frequency range of interest for pulse width modulated converters pt. do not exist.
