Possibility of excitation of the Kelvin-Helmholtz instability in rotating plasmas

A discussion of the possibility of excitation of the Kelvin-Helmholtz instability in a rotating plasma is given. It is found that this type of instability does not seem to occur. The effect of viscosity is not taken into account.
