Fødevarestyrelsen har bedt DTU Fødevareinstituttet om en sundhedsmæssig risikovurdering af to produkter af grønsagsmix, der anvendes i instant nudler med restindhold af 2-chlorethanol på 5,0 mg/kg og 7,4 mg/kg udtrykt som restindhold af ethylenoxid på 2,7 mg/kg og 4,0 mg/kg. Produkterne er analyseret for indhold af ethylenoxid, der som sådan ikke er påvist, men der er påvist 2-chloroethanol i en mænge angivet som restindhold af ethylenoxid på henholdsvis 2,7 mg/kg og 4,0 mg/kg.
