Gennem de seneste ti år er det blevet nemmere for passagerer at orientere sig om forsinkelser i den kollektive transport fx via apps. Det giver passagerer mulighed for at reagere på forsinkelser og genoverveje deres rutevalg undervejs. Ny forskning fra DTU har udviklet en model, der tager højde for dette og beregner passagerforsinkelser i hidtil uhørt detaljeringsgrad.

Effekten af realtidsinformation (RTI) er stor og opridses sammen med de øvrige hovedkonklusioner i denne artikel.
