Diode-pumped intracavity optical parametric oscillator in pulsed and continuous-wave operation
An intracavity optical parametric oscillator is investigated in pulsed and continuous-wave operation. The intracavity optical parametric oscillator is based on Yb:YAG as the laser material and a periodically poled lithium niobate crystal as the nonlinear material. Tuneable idler output powers above 200 mW are obtained in both modes of operation with 13.5 W of incident diode pump power.
The idler output was tuned in the wavelength range 3820-4570 nm.
