This article will present an investigation of the luminous flux and colour maintenance of white LED based retrofit lamps. The study includes 23 different types of integrated LED lamps, covering 18 directional and 5 non-directional. Luminous flux and colour data for operation up to 20000 h has been measured, and will be presented.

Data for the first 6000 h of operation is used for studying extrapolation method and results are compared with experimental data for operation over 19000 h. It has been further examined when catastrophic failures occurred
