A system that has been the object of intense research is outlined. In view of that and recent progress of the theory of pseudodifferential boundary operator calculus, the author describes some features that could prove to be interesting in connection with the problems of boundary feedback stabilizability.

It is shown that it is possible to use the calculus to consider more general feedback systems in a variational setup.
