Participation in virtual organizations - the union responses
Despite most of the hype on virtual organisations, the introduction does not necessarily produce or develop a high trust situation. The paper report on Scandinavian union responses to virtualization, with case examples of manufacturing enterprise groupings. Despite explicit technology promoting policies by unions, participation in management of technology is not granted, but was taken by the shopstewards and their unions
