De nyeste tal fra DTU Fødevareinstituttets undersøgelse af danskernes kostvaner for 2011-2013 viser, at kostens indhold af svine- og oksekød, fisk og grøntsager er øget de senere år, mens kostens indhold af fjerkræ og kartofler er faldet en smule. Data fra undersøgelsen afslører også, hvordan danskerne sammensætter deres varme aftensmad og kan bruges til at identificere både de måltidsvaner, der bidrager til en sund kost, og de ændringer, der kan give måltiderne et sundhedsmæssigt løft.
