Four-Wave Mixing in Orbital Angular Momentum Modes

We report the first, to our knowledge, demonstration of four-wave mixing between fiber modes carrying orbital angular momentum. We show that spin and orbital angular momentum conservation rules lead to diverse phase matching possibilities.
