OPTIMISE - Deliverable D7.1

This deliverable report describes the work done with mechanical testing of powder in optimise. The work is divided in three parts. In the first part equipment and test for testing of powder is described together with experimental results from powder testing. The second part describes a comparison between experimental measured powder densities in rolling compared with FEM simulation of a pressing process.

In the third part two new mechanical tests has been used together with the three old tests to give a more precise description of the powder. Also a new mathematical model has been used to describe the powder.
