Abstract
Inelastic neutron scattering spectra of CsNiF3 in the 1-D regime are compared to a quantum calculation and a classical limit result for S(q, ω). Both give a good description of the data using independently determined values for the exchange and anisotropy constants. We conclude that the non-trivial quantum effects are negligible..
