D2.3 Report on the development of the Weather Forecast Service prototype

This document contains all the information related to weather forecast, especially the process of validating the data, both in the short term and on a seasonal basis. The steps followed in this process and the results are shown. After the tests carried out, the results show that the direct output of the numerical model selected is sufficient and that in the case of seasonal forecasting it is necessary to apply a correction methodology.

The predictions are updated on a daily basis (hourly prediction) and bi‐weekly (seasonal prediction).
