The Integrated Project SOFC600 unites 21 partners jointly working on the research and development of SOFC stack components for operation at 600oC. The project is funded by the European Commission within the 6th Framework Programme. Low-temperature operation is considered essential for achieving commercial targets for lifetime and costs.

This paper gives an overview of the activities in the project and of the main overall results achieved up to now.
