The hidden networks of knowledge in ISO 14001
The ISO 14001 standard is defined as a management standard based on an assumed existing knowledge base of what is to be considered being environmental problems. In the implementation of the standard is become evident, that its use and impact is entirely dependent of the existence of networks of knowledge established in society to make the standard work.
Several such different networks are identified in the article.
