We argue for adopting a form of natural logic for ontology-structured knowledge bases with complex sentences. This serves to ease reading of knowledge base for domain experts and to make reasoning and querying and path-finding more comprehensible. We explain natural logic as a development from traditional logic, pointing to essential differences to description logic.

We conclude with a knowledge base set-up with an embedding into clausal logic, offering also a graph view of the sentences.
