Water, essential to human health, is a human right since 2010. Unfortunately, service is still lacking for billions of people worldwide. While the Arctic is among challenging areas for water infrastructure, due to its remoteness and harsh climate, little data is available on the specific situation of Arctic regions, often lost in the overall numbers of larger nations.

Visibility on the situation is needed to ensure the appropriate response from healthcare services and authorities.
