Forebyggelse af luftbåren smitte

Nogle smitsomme sygdomme, heriblandt COVID-19, spreder sig hovedsageligt ved fysisk kontakt og gennem store dråber fra næse og mund. Imidlertid kan der også være risiko for smitte via aerosoler fra hoste, nys, vejrtrækning, tale osv. COVID-19 har vist sig at kunne overleve i luften i mere end en time.

Derfor kan ventilation bidrage til at forebygge luftbåren smittespredning, særligt i offentlige bygninger, såsom kontorer, institutioner, butikker og restauranter, samt offentlige transportmidler, såsom busser og tog.
