Positron lifetime spectra in γ-irradiated 10 M NaOH glass at 85 ºK show no significant effect due to the presence of 1.7 to 7.0 × 1018 trapped electrons cm−3, i.e., positronium and positrons do not interact with trapped electrons in this matrix.
