Perceived Air Quality of an Occupied, Ozone Exposed, Simulated Aircraft Cabin
Perceived air quality was studied in a simulated aircraft cabin. Four different air quality conditions were created at low and high air change rates in the presence and absence of ozone. Two additional assessments of air quality were also performed at high outdoor airflow rates in the absence of people both in the presence and absence of ozone.
The results showed significant differences between the conditions with and without ozone. No significant differences were found either between the conditions with high and low air change rates or in the presence or absence of people.
