Pump-power dependence of intraband scattering times in semiconductor optical amplifiers
Using a new and simple-yet very general-formalism we show that the response times characterizing the intraband dynamics in semiconductor optical amplifiers shorten at high levels of optical excitation and predict a significant increase of the four-wave mixing bandwidth.
