Denne vejledning er udarbejdet efter aftale med Trafik- og Byggestyrelsen med henblik på at hjælpe de danske jernbaneaktører når de skal udarbejde risikovurderinger i overensstemmelse med CSM-RA-forordningen (European Commission, 2013). Denne vejledning beskriver fare-identifikation som én af de elementer i risikovurderingen.

I aftalen med Trafik- og Byggestyrel-sen indgår også bidrag til Trafik- og Byggestyrelsens vejledninger om systemdefinition og risi-koacceptprincipper.
