Effective area of a bent polarizing double-clad Yb-doped photonic crystal fiber

The bending influence on the effective area of a polarizing double-clad Yb-doped photonic crystal fiber has been numerically investigated. The fiber design robustness to air-hole diameter and core refractive index changes has been also demonstrated.
