Abstract
•Interunit dispersion in multistory buildings is studied using CFD method.•Transport of gaseous pollutants and fine particles is indicated by tracer gas.•Reentry ratios between units under prevailing wind directions are quantified.•Dispersion routes under different wind directions are compared.•The effects of balconies on interunit dispersion characteristics are discussed.
