Designing competitions for education in robotics
The paper describes design considerations for making a robot competition. Topics as level of participants, learning objective, evaluation form, task design and competition rules are treated. It is shown that careful design considering these topics are necessary for a succesful outcome of a competition.
The conclusions are based on examples from more than 15 years of experience with robotic competitions.
