This paper presents a study on the interaction of structural members that can be related to a complex structure placed in a moonpool. The complex structure in the moonpool was simplified with a varying number of members. The study has been carried out as a two-dimensional numerical study with supporting physical experiments.

The focus was on the forces on the individual members as well as the entire structure. Additional the flow field associated with the oscillating water column in the moonpool was also studied.
